Billye was devastated. He continued to train, but without Demetrius to spur him on his heart wasn’t in it.Then in November WKKA offered him a shot at their World Lightweight title. He took it, he said: To show’ The Greek' his work goes on. Demetrius would have been proud of him because he took the title from Ferdinand Mac of Germany. Kickboxing was finally starting to pay off, but seven months later Billye was ready to retire. Jackson retired from kickboxing with a 22-2 record. He focused on teaching, one of his students was Guy Mezger.
