Anthea Neri and associate producer Danny Bernardo proudly present the @divaspeakeasysalon a variety show full of burlesque, music, magic, comedy, and more. Hosted by Neri and Bernardo, the D.I.V.A. Speakeasy Salon transforms the Rockwell into an all-encompassing, vintage experience that mixes the subversiveness of the Kit Kat Club with the immersiveness of Westworld. The mission of D.I.V.A. (Diversity Inclusion Variety Acceptance) is to provide a platform for all humans to showcase their talents in a loving environment, while allowing our audience to experience all the possibilities of entertainment in central Los Angeles and beyond.

Meet the DIVA's! @sarahwinesalot is a dancer, aerialist, and actress from Phoenix, Arizona. She studied Dance at NYU: Tisch, South Korea National University of the Arts, and received a BFA in Jazz Dance Performance from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. To further her professional career, Sarah moved to Los Angeles where she has been working within the industry. Past TV & Film dance credits include "K.C. Undercover", "Barbie; Dreamtopia", "Dreamworks’ Dragon Rescue ...Riders", "Deep Undercover", and "TruTV: Late Night Snack". Currently you can find her performing with the musical theatre burlesque company Cherry Poppins Productions and the Shakespearean Burlesque company Toil and Trouble. Meet the DIVA's - Magician Norman Tolentino will be strolling the space and wowing the crowd at Launch - DIVA a Speakeasy Salon on 8/20 at Rockwell Table & Stage http://bit.ly/DIVA820 Based out of Southern California, Norman is engineer by day, but MAGICIAN all the time! He specializes in closeup magic and loves to amaze with cards, coins and other everyday objects. He has have performed at many venues including weddings, bar mitzvahs and grad nights. As a former member of the Academy of Magical Arts, aka "The Magic Castle," he enjoys entertaining with strolling magic for parties and various events.

Meet the DIVA's - Burlesque performer Kayla Emerson will be joining us for Launch - DIVA a Speakeasy Salon on 8/20 at Rockwell Table & Stage http://bit.ly/DIVA820 Kayla is a professional chameleon -- a woman of many faces, wearing many hats. She is an actor, dancer, choreographer and producer. She also dabbles in cello and bacon cheffing in her free time. Kayla grew up in the [real] valley of Bako, got her BFA at UC Irvine, and has been performing ever since. She previously ...worked as a princess at Disneyland, a choreographer for Utrecht College in The Netherlands, and a magician's assistant for many years. Kayla is currently between tours with a metal band called In This Moment, and producing a Shakespearean Burlesque show for her company called Toil and Trouble Burlesque. She recently starred in the short, "Bloody Shame," which can be found on Amazon Prime, and occasionally on the interweb, her hands can be spotted modeling sex toys. Meet the DIVA's - Stoked to have singer Leyo joining us for Launch - DIVA a Speakeasy Salon on 8/20 at Rockwell Table & Stage http://bit.ly/DIVA820 Leonardo Mendez was born in Orange County California. Affectionately called Leyo, he first realized he could sing when a lady at church next to him said he had an amazing voice and should join the choir. Not skipping a beat, he did as she suggested and joined the praise and worship team at church. Growing up in a Mexican househo...ld, he listened to the greats of Spanish romance music. Leyo discovered his deep connection to the genre. Leyo has been greatly influences by artists like Juan Gabriel, Luis Miguel, Christian Castro, Luis Fonsi, George Michael, Josh Groban and Ricky Martin. His deep, rich tone and vocal range allows him to tell the story of the greatest ballads with great intimacy, tenderness and power. In 2008, a chance audition landed him a place on Telefutura’s singing competition show, Objetivo Fama Season 5. Sharing a house and stage with 20 other aspiring singers from all over Latin America and the US. Known as "el bufon de la casa", "the joker," Leyo quickly became a fan favorite. Competing and performing songs by some of music’s greatest vocalist like Marc Anthony, Christian Castro and Pepe Aguilar. Leyo continued to grow into his own as a vocalist from this experience, coached by show judges and industry experts Roberto Sueiro, Fernando Allende and Mexican singer Jimena. A great student, Leyo humbly applied all the valuable feedback to better his craft. The run on Objetivo Fama 05 came to an end on the show but his visibility in the public eye remained. His sexy smile, striking looks, infectious laugh and outgoing personality made him a regular correspondent for Sin Editar, an entertainment magazine show, solidifying him as a favorite TV personality in Puerto Rico. Leyo later returned to Los Angeles to focus on his music and education receiving a degree in Spanish Literature, Leyo started to focus on his songwriting and singing. Leyo completed work with Legendary Producer/Songwriter Rudy Perez, Billboard Music Latin Producer of the Decade and President of the Latin Songwriters Hall of Fame in Miami recoding his ballad Ya No Recuerdas Leyo has long been an admirer of lyrics and connected to songs of love and heartbreak. Leyo is currently writing and collaborating with some of the finest songwriters/producers in the industry on his first album. With his unique voice, sensitive tone and passion for he is sure to secure his music as the Latin standards for the next generation. Leyo has positioned himself as a rising star in the industry. Leyo is set to be one of the greatest songwriter/balladeers of his generation. Bringing a fresh and sexy approach to contemporary Latin music creating the Latin standard songs for the next generation.

#WCW - Meet the DIVA's - Comedian Danielle Soto will be joining us for Launch - DIVA a Speakeasy Salon on 8/20 at Rockwell Table & Stage http://bit.ly/DIVA820 Danielle Soto is a stand-up comedian, writer, and podcast host from Boston, Massachusetts. Before moving to Los Angeles in the spring of 2014, Danielle worked the New England comedy circuit, as well as traveling to festivals in Chicago, New York, and Los Angeles. She has performed as an opening act for Ralphie May and... Lenny Clarke, and was chosen to participate in Comedy Central’s Up Next satellite show to search for Comics To Watch in 2013. Danielle’s comedy routine centers on her dating life, dieting, day jobs, and her Chilean Jewish family. Most recently, Danielle created the Dr. Cheesecake Podcast (available on iTunes), in which her guests explain a problem in their life and Danielle solves it using an episode of The Golden Girls (and a slice of cheesecake!) Notable guests have been Golden Girls writer Stan Zimmerman and Alaska from RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 5. Danielle also writes, produces, and hosts Golden Girls trivia once a month in West Hollywood. In her spare time, Danielle likes to host game night with friends, spend time with her wonderful family, and tell strangers about the time she offered Bret Michaels her virginity, which he very politely declined.
