If one photo could sum up our year. 2020 you kicked my ass with emotions. Eight days into 2020 I welcomed Booth into the world, my heart felt so complete with the experience of becoming a mother and the love in my heart for this little dude. I had it all planned out, I was going to continue running my businesses and be a mother. As planned, I was making calls just hours after labor and was back doing fittings 3 days later, bound and determined to do it all. Everything was goi...ng so well when Covid hit us all, completely blindsided by the effects it would have on the industry, I was instantly forced to be home and being someone who is constantly social and at an event every other day, the beginning was rough. We spent most of our time at our house in Joshua Tree where it felt safe. Being that Hunter and I like to keep busy, he started finishing up woodwork around the house that I designed which was revisiting the career I actually went to school for, interior/set design. As soon as our desert dream house was finished, we bought another house to do the same. Soon we were buying properties around Joshua Tree and now are proud owners of four properties that we are going to completely renovate. Blessed not only to get so much time together working as a family, I also was able to see Booth wake up each day a different baby. Something I would have missed if we were back working in LA. The universe had a different plan for me and I can't say I am upset about it. I got to spend so much quality time with family this year, especially my grandma who I had to say goodbye to unexpectedly, she was my best friend, another mother to me, my support system and rock in life. Life isn't going back to the way it was before and I am at peace with that. Whatever 2021 holds for us, I know I am prepared and ready for it, meanwhile we have big plans for next year that we have been working towards, so bring it 2021, I'm ready for you.
