Rocky 'snippet': during this week of Advent, Rocky will be looking for signs of 'joy'. The 'joy' on the face of a child coming to see Jesus is her first spotting. Join Rocky on her journey this week of looking for signs or words of 'joy'!

Rocky has had a peaceful week in DCP. Her advent journey next week, will take her on a search for signs of 'joy'.

Rocky and visitors to the park, enjoyed special music composed by Paul Gerken at Sunday's program. Rocky lingered (along with visitors) for over an hour to listen to his music!

Rocky continues to seek out signs of 'peace' in the park this week. She has spied a peaceful spot to sit, but would love to learn some more verses about 'peace'. If you have a favorite verse, please share in the comment section.

Rocky enjoyed listening to a few of the Psalms read by Bevery, from Desert Hills Presbyterian Church.

Rocky enjoyed (from a social distance of course) sharing in the celebration of 'All Saints Day', with Pastor Wayne from Desert Hills Presbyterian Church. Pastor Wayne's message flowed in this natural desert setting....more tomorrow...

On this second week of Advent, Rocky searches DCP for signs of 'peace'. She thinks starting with the mission statement is wonderful way to began her quest.

Rocky is very excited to share "snippets" about the visitors that came to participate in communion at our beautiful park. Check-in with Rocky through-out the week to meet some of the participants that contributed to this event.....

Rocky is roaming the park to make sure everything is ready for the 2:00 communion time with Pastor Wayne. She hopes to see you here!

Yea! Sunday is almost here, hope to see all of you at 2:00 p.m. to share communion. Look back a few days for all the info and please remember to be kind and wear a mask IF you are near others. I've got mine ready!

Rocky has an exciting invitation for you...Desert Hills Presbyterian Church in Yucca Valley is inviting everyone to join Pastor Wayne in celebrating communion on Sunday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m. We will gather at the 'Last Supper' for a sharing of Jesus' life in our beautiful desert park! Rocky would like to remind you to please social distance and wear a mask, bring a folding chair and your own symbolic bread and wine. How wonderful we have DCP to use as a 'backyard' for our local churches.

Rocky would like to shout out a "hip-hip-hooray", for all the volunteers and visitors that support the park! Last month, we had a visitor to Yucca Valley from Michigan. During her visit, she painted statues in the park. Thank you to all of you for maintaining this beautiful desert sanctuary!

We don't know which apostle is Peter, but Rocky thinks it is this one; after listening to visitors discuss Antone Martine's 'Last Supper". If you would like to know more about this amazing apostle, Rocky recommends, "The Fragile Stone", by Michael Card.
