I have a picture of the perp, a picture of his truck and I know his license plate. I can't file a police report, only the victim may do that. BOLO: male, white, 35, with black curly hair, often sitting parked in his black BMW 328i, CA p...late 8JWL033, near parks and schools, has attempted to lure underage girls into his car "for a ride," and has followed when they refuse. He has also attempted to talk to adult women passing by on numerous occasions. He has approached females who are walking, running, skateboarding, and bicycling near his sedan. Please report any further sightings or interactions to LASD Detective Martin at the Lakewood station at 562-623-3500. If you see him, and you can, take a photo or video. Some reports suggest he parks and pleasures himself in his vehicle. Based on one interaction, he might also be playing a Niantic game like Pokémon Go, which would be a convenient reason to frequent parks or other high-traffic public places (and could appear similar to someone outside of the vehicle). Locations of sightings and interactions include: San Martin Park / Gompers Elementary, Lakewood Del Valle Park, Lakewood St. Maria Goretti Catholic School/Church, near Heartwell Park, Long Beach Pan Am Park, Long Beach Out of the way residential neighborhoods, including a homeless encampment His identity is known to law enforcement, and he has ties to this area. LASD and LBPD have both interacted with him. Please instruct your children not to stop, talk to him, or give him their name, and talk to them about how to handle this situation. Above are his known locations, but he might continue to travel farther once the community becomes more aware. CONSTRUCTION ALERT: Crews are scheduled to demolish the west side of the Bolsa Chica bridge over two nights, under full northbound (NB) and southbound (SB) free...way closures. The freeway will be closed in both directions between Springdale Street and Bolsa Chica Road. Additional nighttime demolition will occur during the week under freeway lane closures. Some daytime demolition also is anticipated. The closure is set for: 10 p.m. Friday, June 19, to 8 a.m. Saturday, June 20; and 10 p.m. Saturday, June 20, to 9 a.m. Sunday, June 21. The NB detour is: NB I-405 off-ramp Valley View Street/Garden Grove Boulevard Westbound (WB) Garden Grove NB Valley View WB SR-22/ NB I-405 loop onramp The SB detour is: SB I-405 off-ramp to Bolsa Chica SB Bolsa Chica Eastbound (EB) Westminster Boulevard SB I405 onramp Motorists should expect delays and use alternate routes if possible.
