Non-Surgical procedures: Scaling and root planing (Special cleaning that removes plaque and tartar from under the gumline) Periodontal maintenance/supportive periodontal therapy (specialized deep cleanings)... Del Rosario Dental offices are providing three easy ways for patients to achieve a BRIGHTER SMILE! Option 1) Zoom! Zoom is an IN-OFFICE treatment designed to see results within 2 hours! Our offices do advise that for better results, you must also do TAKE-HOME maintenance under the doctor’s supervision in order to get safe and effective results. Option 2) Self-whitening with mold! Any of our dental offices offer to make a teeth mold designed specifically for the individual. Af...ter the mold is complete, our dentists will provide a strong whitening solution so our patients can whiten their teeth wherever or whenever they want. Option 3) Patients can also purchase their own over-the-counter whitening products. These whitening products may not be as effective as their chemistry may be too weak to bleach the teeth for sufficient amount of time, or too strong and can be dangerous to ingest. Professional teeth whiteners provided in the dental offices are safe, effective, and done under the supervision of a dental professional. In most cases, it is worth the extra money to visit the dentist to get long-lasting and safe results. These whitening treatments are COSMETIC and NOT covered by insurance.
