Feeling extra grateful for this space today! The world may be chaotic and uncertain right now, but walking up these stairs brings so much peace to so many, including myself. May you find a space that gives you peace today.

This season is hard, for so many reasons. It makes so much sense that so many of us are struggling. Here’s a few thoughts to help you move through this tough time.

Kate Erath is a photographer and creative local to San Diego! Her first passion is her job as a graphic designer for a children’s publishing company from 9-5, however after that she has her second love and personal brand: Foru where she brings her illustrations to life on products for purchase with a portion of proceeds going to supporting centers for eating disorder recovery. Read more about her mission by visiting her site linked in her Instagram profile: @kate.erath. Kate will be photographing the I Cultivate event as a mental health advocate and a firm believer in the Cultivate mission.

Collaboration is so important to really serving others. There’s no way we can be experts at everything, or understand the unique and diverse life experiences that so many others have experienced. We are grateful to the many therapists outside of Cultivate that we get the privilege of collaborating with! Shout out to a few! @mitchelltherapeuticservices @sdicouples... @soulfulpsychology @alairolsontherapy @drerinelmore @devon_dubois_ See more

Compassion enables us to look at ourselves, others, and the world in a different way. It helps us feel, empathize, mourn, be changed, and be moved to take action. We then become attuned to a deeper love for ourselves and others; thus, allowing a movement towards wholeness. 2 weeks until our event! Grab your FREE tickets now! Link in bio!

This is Breyana, the creator of @wildcraft.designs. She started her freelance creative design business just this year! With her background in wedding and event planning, she knows first hand how one of a kind designs can make a lasting impression. Breyana hopes her art installation at I CULTIVATE will make a positive lasting impression to all who get to interact with the piece! Breyana did an amazing install for us at I Cultivate: Body Positivity and we are so excited to have her back. Swipe to see her last piece for us!

Welcome to Cultivate! This beautiful piece of art on a cookie is a picture of our dreamy building that we get the honor of sharing with @eatpoppie and @stellajeansicecream! We live our second floor views and the amazing smells that come from our first floor friends! Cultivate is a collective of therapists that sees clients in our two office locations in University Heights & La Mesa and virtually. We believe the counseling experience all around should be one of warmth, inspira...tion, and wholeness- meaning from the minute you park your car and walk through a dreamy neighborhood, to our waiting room, to the conversations and work done with your therapist. We are passionate about bridging the gap between the community and the counseling office, so we try and create gatherings and workshops, that make moving towards wholeness and health a little bit easier. We’d love to answer any questions you have, or connect you to one of our amazing therapists! Send us a email at [email protected] or go to our website and click the contact tab. You are always welcome at Cultivate.

Hello Everyone! My name is Ashley Gutierrez, and I am happy to tell you I am joining the Cultivate team as their newest associate marriage & family therapist (120791). I work with individuals, couples, and families. In counseling, I sit alongside people who want to explore the richness of who they are becoming. I work with people who are experiencing grief/loss, transition, abuse, trauma, anxiety, fear, sadness (and other big feelings and experiences), and people who feel li...ke they are shedding identities or shaking up beliefs they once held tightly. Through trauma-informed narrative practices and the Gottman Method, I help people explore practices that feel good and safe, create the capacity to lean into what is hard (when ready), and develop a compassionate and loving relationship with themselves and loved ones. Outside of work, you’ll find me creating new meals, listening to podcasts and audiobooks on long walks, making films for social causes, loving on my pups and my partner, and playing tennis (a new covid hobby). I am seeing people at our University Heights and La Mesa offices and via Telehealth. If you are interested in being in conversation together, send me an email at [email protected] for more info or to schedule a session. I look forward to chatting with you.
