The semester's first meeting is happening this Thursday! You will find us in the Library, room 1176 at 6:00pm. We will have some guests coming to help you in preparing your resume. With the accounting mixer just a month away, this will make sure you're ready to impress your potential future employer. If you have a resume already, please bring it.

For all the students in Intermediate Accounting, you'll be hearing about VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program in the coming weeks. This is an excellent way to get feel for the tax side of being an accountant. On top of that, this is also the perfect program to participate in for your service learning class, BUS-300S. Take the VITA training this semester and you'll be one step ahead of everyone else for 300S in the Spring of 2015. We have many people follow this path so feel free to ask questions.

Welcome to a new semester here at CSUMB. Accounting Society will be getting started real soon so keep an eye on this page and your emails for updates. We'll have plenty of sessions like in previous semesters to work on your resumes, interview skills, and guest speakers from local CPA firms.
