California State Mining & Mineral Museum Association

The Mariposa Mineral and Gem Show, "Mountains of Minerals," will be on Saturday, April 8th (10:00 am - 5:00 pm) and 9th (10:00 am - 4:00 pm) at the Mariposa Fairgrounds. Admission is $3, kids get in free, and parking is free. The show features dealers, tailgaters, speakers, demonstrations, exhibits, kid's activities, and a raffle. The California State Mining and Mineral Museum in Mariposa will be open during the show and will feature a special exhibit of fine agates in the vault room. The agate exhibit will be at the museum April - September 2017.

Saturday, October 29, 2016 Free admission, from 5:007:00pm Docents will be on hand to give guided Museum tours. The Mine Tunnel will be occupied by ghosts, demons, skeletons and Tommy Knockers, from October 1330, 2016, during regular business hours. (Thursday through Sunday, from 10:00am 4:00pm) Regular admission is $4.00 for adults. Kids 12 & under are always free.
