MEET THE CHAMBER! Introducing one of our Chamber Ambassadors, Anna Hooper, Community Sponsorship Specialist for the Cosumnes CSD! Reason for being involved w/ the Chamber: To represent and promote the Chamber and share their mission, connect and engage with other members, local elected officials, and key business stakeholders while representing the District.... Favorite Part of being a Ambassador: Building relationships and making connections in the community we both serve. Supporting and assisting with the many Chamber's activities and events. Favorite thing about EG: Even though we have grown from a small town into a city, you still find a proud sense of community in Elk Grove. Plus, it's only a short drive to all the advantages of the Delta, Foothills, Sierra, and neighboring small towns. Fun Fact: I attended elementary school with the Prince of Zanzibar and went to many parties in the palace! Thanks for taking a moment to get to know Anna! Reason for being involved w/ the Chamber: There are so many reasons to get involved with the Elk Grove Chamber; My main reason was to support our local business community.... Favorite Part of being a Board Member: The relationships; The Chamber provides connections and networking opportunities to meet other chamber members and learn from each other. Favorite thing about EG: The quick Fire and EMS response times, and of course, the parks, :). I love that Elk Grove has so many great amenities but has maintained that local-feel. My family and I take advantage of trying new things and making new memories, Elk Grove is a great place to make that happen!
