Pat and Oren hanging out in PA for the USTA National Men’s 40, 45 and 50 Grass Court Championships! Good luck guys!!

So Pat’s in Boise, Idaho for the National M50 Indoor Championships, where he is the #2 seed. He’ll play Kelly Ward(8) in the quarterfinals this morning but in the meantime he’s enjoying some down time with his doubles partner, Robert Hinkel and his occasional opponent and good friend, Oren Motevassel (1). Good luck and go get em Pat!!

Vey well said and I think this is a great article by Marianne Werdel that every junior should read. I love the part about being our own biggest enemy. When you play tennis competitively, the first and most important thing to learn is to be able to play with your head and body as one. You have to be able to play knowing that you’re confident in your game and have the ability to keep the mental part on your side.

Pat and his buddy Dean Sexton had to get through three tough teams to win the club’s President’s Cup Doubles Tournament at Newport Beach Tennis Center, but they prevailed and it made for a pretty good first day as a new member for Dean! Congrats boyzzzz...

BIG congratulations to NATASHA HILL(1) for winning both the G16 Singles and Doubles titles this past weekend at the Moore Tennis Academy Junior Open (Level 5)!!! She defeated Sydney Donovan(2) 6-4; 6-0 in the final and she and her partner, Aubrey McGrew, d. the team of Daniel-Jimenez, 8-1. Great job Natasha... Super proud of you!
