NST worked with local media including NBC 7 San Diego to highlight client Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego’s Halloween event which gave siblings of a hospitalized child a sense of normalcy and an opportunity to celebrate. A group of more than 20 young guests staying at San Diego’s Ronald McDonald House had the opportunity to pick out costumes donated by DHL Express and engage in safe trick-or-treating at multiple stations set up across the festively decorated house, all while following proper social distancing guidelines.

NST worked with local media including, NBC 7 San Diego, to help client San Diego County McDonald's announce its new celebrity menu collaboration with award-winning Reggaeton global ambassador J Balvin. The J Balvin Meal features a Big Mac sandwich, medium World Famous Fries with ketchup, and an OREO McFlurry, and will be available at participating restaurants from October 5 to November 1. Customers who purchase The J Balvin Meal as an offer on the McDonald’s App will receive the OREO McFlurry for free.

NST worked with local media including OsideNews.com to announce client San Diego County McDonald's new menu items spicing things up with Spicy Chicken McNuggets and Mighty Hot Sauce and cooling fans off the Chips Ahoy! McFlurry. This is the first time McDonald’s has introduced a new flavor of Chicken McNuggets in the U.S. since they came to menus in 1983 and the new dipping sauce is both McDonald’s first new sauce innovation since 2017 and the hottest one available at McDonald’s. Menu items will be available for a limited time at participating restaurants nationwide.

Reporters also learned how WD-40 Company’s history and focus on innovation led to the development of best-in-class products. As a result, NST secured virtual video interviews with nine publications and more than 20 pieces of coverage.

NST worked with South California broadcast media, including CBS Los Angeles, to promote the work client California Citrus Threat and the California Department of Food and Agriculture are doing to protect California’s citrus trees. Hundreds of thousands of tiny, parasitic wasps are being released throughout California to lower populations of a dangerous pest that can carry an incurable plant disease that kills citrus trees.
