ATTENTION ALL RIDERS, SPONSORS & SPECTATORS! The TT Scrambles Championship Series Rnd 4 scheduled for Sunday, December 20, 2020 at Glen Helen Raceway has changed.... The health and well-being of our volunteers, contracted workers, sponsors, riders & their families together with our entire racing community is of the utmost importance to us. Therefore, to comply with the recent Regional Stay @ Home Order implemented by the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) for the SoCal Region on Dec. 3, 2020, our December 20, 2020 event has been cancelled and will not be rescheduled. We pray for all those effected by this pandemic and keep our sights on a new year. CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR REX, Team OSSRG Member and Friend to Many... Dubya USA and Glen Helen Raceway are proud to announce Rocket Rex Staten as the 2020 Edison Dye Lifetime Achievement recipient. Rex Staten started his racing career here in Southern California riding local desert events at the age of 9. Rex trained and practiced every day and he quickly moved up the amateur ranks and turned pro at the age of 18.... Rex raced on every make of bike from CZ to Maico to Honda to Harley Davidson to Yamaha and more. He was brutal to his equipment; he rode hard and was a fierce competitor winning the Daytona Supercross in 1980 over the ever-popular Marty Smith. Rex has raced all over the world and in every type of racing from Supercross, motocross Baja 1000, and even freestyle. Rex was also the three-time South African National Champion.It is especially fitting that Rex receive his Lifetime Achievement award at the 2020 World Vet Motocross Championship since Rex won the Over-30 World Vet Championship in 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1992. Rex was honored on Sunday, November 8, in conjunction with the World Vet MX Championships, at noon. The ceremony was held in the Glen Helen Museum. Congratulations, Rex, for being the newest member of the Glen Helen Walk of Fame, and recipient of the 2020 Edison Dye Motocross Lifetime Achievement Award! https://youtu.be/4uwZeDIAmIo

Well, as Rolf Greenhill, Jim Kesler and I tore down as much of the track as possible before dark today, we finally had time to slow down, enjoy dinner together... while sitting in our team trailer watching AFT Flat Track racing on the bloop-tube . We'll be up bright and early to finish the clean up before heading home Monday afternoon. Thanks to our team of volunteers, workers, contractors and sponsors who help make our organization happen. Every single on of you matter and we love You! A very special thanks goes out to Alan Witherell and the Quad community for stepping up to the plate today, volunteering their time to flag during the GP. With the freeway accident and closure, the 3 scheduled flaggers were stuck and never made it, their support today was priceless! We hope everyone enjoyed their ride at the 2nd Annual OktoberFast Grand Prix and we are looking forward doing it again next year Team OSSRG www.OSSRG.org
