Restaurants around Southern California are now open for outdoor dining, but it’s important we remain vigilant and safe when visiting restaurants. Call the restaurant prior to visiting to double check precautions are in place and Covid safety guidelines are being followed. Their website and social media profiles may have helpful info as well. Make a reservation to avoid waiting in crowded spaces. When you’re at the restaurant, wear your mask anytime you’re not eating or dri...nking. This includes while you wait for your order, while conversing with restaurant workers, and when you’re not 6 ft away from others (hallways, restrooms, any location indoors). Don’t forget good ol’ hand washing and sanitizing when entering and exiting the restaurant, after touching surfaces, and prior to eating. Basically, wash your hands as often as you can especially if you plan on eating and drinking. Support small businesses, stay safe, and bon appetit!

Someone cannot give consent if they are under the influence of alcohol or any other drug. This applies even if they verbally say "yes." Consent is as easy as F.R.I.E.S.: F: Freely Given- Consent should be made without pressure, force, manipulation or while drunk/high. R: Reversible- Anyone can change their mind, at any time I: Informed- Be honest. For example, if someone says they'll use a condom but they don't, that's not consent. E: Enthusiastic- If someone isn't excite...d, not really into it, that's not consent S: Specific- Saying yes to one thing (like making out) doesn't mean they've said yes to others (like oral sex). #CPPhealth #domesticviolenceawarenessmonth See more
