Happy New Year Folks! With 2020 coming to an end, we wanted to send y'all off with a year in review from our beloved Cow Palace. This year's change of pace has affected us all but we saw some new Friends visit our facility from evacuated livestock during the CZU lightning fires to local food bank volunteers to even the handful of events at the beginning of the year (seems so long ago). We stayed busy with house projects, cleaned out some old storage closets and lost one of o...ur venue's pillars in professional wrestling legend, Pat Patterson. OTD in Cow Palace History: In front of a crowd of 6,422, our iconic Main Arena brought together a diverse card of some of the biggest names in professional wrestling at the time. 'Superstar' Billy Graham was brutally beat by Butch Reed, (in the battle of the beasts) Bam Bam Bigelow beat King Kong Bundy and George 'The Animal' Steele defeated Dangerous Danny Davis. The evening's final match had the Intercontinental Title on the line where The Honky Ton Man defended his title... against Randy 'Macho Man' Savage. In front of a sold out crowd, Neil Young performed a 20-song set list that ranged from some of his hits, a Buffalo Springfield cover and originals. This living legend is no stranger to our iconic venue and we would be ecstatic to see him back one day.
