Copper Mountain College Fire Technology Program 06.12.2020

It's now time to register for the Summer 2019 semester. Have you been thinking about or are interested in a career within the fire service? Place yourself "Head & Shoulders" over other applicants for a fire service job by earning an Associate's Degree in Fire Technology. Copper Mountain College offers courses in the Fire Technology field that will count toward a certificate or Associate of Science Degree. These courses are designed for students who plan to transfer to a four...-year institution, gain employment in the fire service, or for those individuals currently employed in any area of the fire service seeking a degree required for promotion. The approved list of courses include those that meet the National Fire Academy Fire & Emergency Service Higher Education (FESHE) core curriculum requirements and include those accredited by the California Fire Service Training and Educational System for State Board of Fire Technology certification. Registration for the Summer 2019 semester begins May 09, 2019. The last day to register for a summer semester class is June 07, 2019. Classes begin on Monday June 10, 2019. Register online at www.cmccd.edu and/or contact an Admissions Counselor at (760) 366-3791. All students may apply online for financial aid at www.fafsa.ed.gov and/or see a Financial Aid Counselor located in the Student Services Building. The following Fire Technology Courses will be offered during the Summer 2019 semester: Fire 058: Fire Department Hydraulics (Web Enhanced Class) Fire 081: CSFM Driver/Operator 1A Emergency Vehicle Operations. Fire 084: CSFM Driver/Operator 1B Pump Operations Fire CWEE: Cooperative Work Education & Experience All classes will be conducted at the Copper Mountain College main campus located at 6162 Rotary Way Joshua Tree, Ca. 92552.
