Our Virginia City Ghost Tours are filling up! We have tour options Friday December 8 and Saturday, Dec. 9th (overnight option available) If you're a fan of Ghos...t Adventures, you won't want to miss out on this event. This is where it all started! We reserved the most haunted locations in V.C. for this paranormal getaway including the Washoe Club, the Miner's Cabin at the Gold Hill and the ill-fated Rosy's room in the Silver Queen, where a prostitute (Rosy) ended her life by slitting her wrists in the bathtub. Our Virginia City Haunted Weekend has three tour options, Friday and Saturday December 8 & 9th, including an overnight in The Washoe Club & Miner’s Cabin at The Gold Hill. Pick and choose your investigations! * There are only 12 spaces available in each tour! FRIDAY NIGHT SILVER QUEEN INVESTIGATION/MEET & GREET December 8 Check-in: 8 p.m. @ The Silver Queen Saloon, 28 C Street - Virginia City Cost: $50/Person, Due at time of reservation We will investigate both Rosy's room and The Cowboy's room (featured in Ghost Adventures) and will have a social meet & greet at the Silver Queen Saloon. Guests are responsible for their own room accommodations. EVENT ENDS AT MIDNIGHT Then choose which Saturday night investigation you prefer: SATURDAY NIGHT EARLY INVESTIGATION December 9 Check-in: 4:30 p.m. @ The Washoe Club Cost: $40/Person, due at time of reservation Early tour features investigations in the Miner's Cabin @ the Gold Hill, a short investigation & tour @ The Washoe Club & more! SATURDAY NIGHT OVERNIGHT INVESTIGATION (includes accommodations) December 9 Check-in: 8 p.m. @ The Washoe Club Cost: $150/person, due at time of reservation - includes a one-year membership to the Washoe Pack a sleeping bag/pillow for this investigation. We have both the Washoe Club and The Miner's Cabin overnight. Not everyone who entered through the club's doors was alive though. The club has a crypt, which was used to store dead bodies while grave diggers waited for the ground to thaw during cold winter months. The Miner's Cabin was originally used in the early 1900's as a changing room for the famous Yellow Jacket Mine. The Yellow Jacket Mine was also the site of the worst industrial disaster in Nevada history (1869) - a fire that started on the 800 foot level of the mine and quickly spread, claiming the lives of at least 35 miners, many of who still reside at the cabin, where they were treated for injuries and died. You are not required to spend the night at the Washoe/Miner's Cabin, however, if you don't, you are responsible for your own accommodations.
