It was great meeting new people and competing in Beach Blitz 2017! After some difficulty in qualification rounds at the 2017 Houston Championship, Team 696 was picked by the 2nd Seeded Alliance of Team 330 - The Beach Bots , 180-SPAM, and 3735-VorTX. We then played from quarterfinals through finals in the Newton Division playoffs, where we ended as Finalists against the alliance who later became the World Championship Finalists. We had a great run with our playoff alliance, and our students, parents, and mentors took so much from the experience of attending Championships. We hope to be back again soon!
