DYLAN AN 18-YEAR OLD TABBY CAT NEEDS A FOSTER HOME Yes! An 18 year old cat was surrendered to his vet because the parents and son no longer wanted him in sp...ite of the fact he gets along with dogs and cats, has very submissive personality, sleeps at night and hides. A private rescuer took up his cause and checked out his health at her vet where he is being boarded. The results: He is a super sweet and healthy cat! The lab work came back essentially normal. The fecal test was negative. He has not had diarrhea; his stools have been normal. He enjoys being petted and purrs easily. His x-rays were normal (no masses). Dylan's only medical issue was a mild URI, for which he was given antibiotic and steroid injections. The bottom line is, the rescuer is looking for a foster or adopter who will provide the love he deserves. She will continue to "sponsor" him by paying for future medical costs. Any takers?
