Shabbos for the Singles This week Parshas Chayei Sara is read in every shul in the world. It is often referred to as parshas shidduchim as much of the parsha is spent on the background to the marriage of Yitzchok Avinu and Rivka Imeinu. It is considered a parsha that is a segula for single people to get married. Rabbi Cohen will make a special mishabeyrach for singles in the Community Shul during Krias HaTorah. Dear Community Member, We are delighted to inform you that Rabbi Cohen and Elchonon Cohen will be leading our Rosh Hashanah services. We will be holding two outdoor day minyanim. The early minyan will be from 7:00 am 9:00 am and the regular minyan will be from 9:00 am 11:00 am for both days of Rosh HaShana. There will be one mincha and one maariv minyan both nights of Rosh Hashanah. We will have a special shofar blowing later in the afternoon on the second day of Rosh Has...hanah for all women in the community. The services will be gated, covered, and lit with market lighting. We will have our comfortable chairs and tables from shul and we are currently working on having AC pumped into the sukkah. There will be double armed security. We are currently exploring child care possibilities in the annex. None of the safety and health requirements that we currently have in place are relaxed.
