What matters more than what we say on MLK Day is what we do the other 364 days of the year. If you're interested in learning more about equity in education and what we can do in the Bay Area, join us tonight at 6:30 pm! Community Equity Collaborative is grateful to local leaders and educators for leaning into this important conversation. http://www.mpcsdspeakerseries.com/events.html

This Thanksgiving, we at Community Equity Collaborative first want to acknowledge that the land where we live and work is the ancestral homeland of the Ramaytush Ohlone people. We invite others to join us this holiday, in your own homes and traditions in learning about history and ongoing contributions of the Indigenous people - wherever you may live. Second, we give thanks to the partners who have joined us this year in building more just and equitable communities. Lastly, we encourage everyone to support the caregivers and educators among us, from preschool teachers to nurses to the many parents (who are working, caregiving and educating!). We are all indebted to them for the heavy load they have carried. Stay safe. Wear a mask. And, enjoy a Happy Thanksgiving.
