Before we start heading into our winter months - remembering a hot day this fall where teachers busted out the sprinkler and everyone had some water fun, cooled off with some cold watermelon... and then each family was sent home with pizza and salad for dinner thanks to Dine11 Marin. Moments that make healthy childhood memories :)

Through the State of California’s Project Homekey program, the County of Marin is on the verge of potentially approving the redevelopment of three new housing sites in Marin (Inn Marin in Novato, America’s Best Value in Corte Madera, and 3301 Kerner in San Rafael). Together, these projects would create almost 140 new units of permanent supportive housing and bring in upwards of $20M in State funding to our community. Critically, all three of these sites will be occupied as in...terim housing within 30-90 days, guaranteeing that more individuals and families will be off the streets going into the winter months. But your voice is needed. Project Homekey needs as many individual people as possible to speak in support of this project at the following Board of Supervisors meetings (link below) taking place on: Tuesday, November 10th Final Approval of 3301 Kerner and America’s Best Value and Tuesday, November 17th Final Approval of Inn Marin https://www.marincounty.org/depts/bs/meeting-archive

We stand with our communities from Marin City to Bodega Bay; Novato to Sausalito; and Inverness to the Canal District. Every member of our community has a right to safety, security, inclusion, respect, and religious freedom. Marin will not tolerate reprehensible attempts at Voter Suppression and Intimidation. Voting is a fundamental right, upon which our democracy rests. Please talk to a poll worker if you witness any such behavior at the polls. If a poll worker isn’t accessi...ble, contact (415) 473-7191 if you witness any attempts of voter suppression or intimidation. Over the weekend, residents of our community were subjected to race-based hate speech and acts of blatant intimidation. We will not tolerate this in Marin County. Marin is a community that stands against Hate, Bigotry, Racism, Sexism, Anti-Semitism, Ableism, Misogyny, Homophobia, Religious Intolerance, and Xenophobia.

Our Family Partners program assists families who struggle with mental health and provides a whole-family approach to connect family members with the resources they need in many ways including: parent coaching, parenting classes, system navigation, resource finding, emotional support, and child mentoring.
