Feliz Día de los Muertos Dia de los Muertos, or Day of the Dead, is a Mexican holiday celebrated annually on November 2. The holiday involves family and friends gathering to pray for and remember loved ones who have passed away. It is considered a day of celebration as opposed to mourning. Those celebrating set up altars, with photos of their loved ones, skulls, marigold flowers and offerings for the dead.
