Welcome to the Fall semester CSM! Although things are still far from normal we're all working hard to make sure that this semester is a great success despite the challenges we are all facing. Our first big announcement of the semester: curbside pick-up! You can now place CSM Library items on hold and pick them up from campus. The campus is still closed so a pick-up appointment is required. Learn all about it in our Curbside Pick-Up Guide: https://libguides.collegeofsanmateo.edu/curbside. Here's to a great semester!

Did you know "illegal aliens" is a subject heading that has been used by the Library of Congress since 1980? Well, you won't find it in our subject headings anymore. The SMCCD libraries have removed this heading from our catalogs and replaced it with "undocumented immigrants." Words matter and we're happy to have a part in this change. Learn more about the push for change in subject headings: https://theconversation.com/the-bias-hiding-in-your-library
