Prevent Long Voting Lines - Be a Helpful Friend and Family Member. Dear Neighbors, Please tell your friends and family members who are not on social media to go vote today. During the primary election I visited all of our Hawthorne Voting Centers and some wait times were up to two hours that evening. I asked people in line why they waited until Election Day and about half of them shared that they were not aware that they could vote before Election Day. Please reach out t...o anyone you know who may have not voted yet and ask them to vote today. The Vote Centers are open until 7pm tonight. If anyone needs a ride to a Vote Center please ask them to call me at 310-349-2918. Your City Clerk, Dr. Paul Jimenez
