Still Work to be Done! There is a lot of work being done in the burn zones of Napa County. These pictures are from Glass Mountain Rd at Silverado Trail. Clearing trees and brush takes time. There are several crews doing their best to make the remaining closed roads safe for utility crews to do their jobs. Thanks to all those who have been logging the extra hours to make Napa County safe again!

The Lake Berryessa is closed for the Labor Day weekend. Please respect the closure. The infrastructure is not ready. Most of the parking areas are closed, full of PG & E equipment or full of tree clearing equipment. Most of the roadside parking is full of downed trees. There are no boat launches or camping sites available. We know it’s going to be hot this weekend. Unfortunately, Lake Berryessa is not an option to cool off. The Napa CHP and Napa Sheriff will be patrolling the area as well. PLEASE RESPECT THE CLOSURE!

BUI is DUI We were at Markley Cove Marina and Resort and Steele Park Resort Lake Berryessa last weekend educating folks about #DUI. Boating Under the Influence is Driving Under the Influence and both can get you a ride to Jail! The Napa CHP and Napa County Sheriff's Office will be out in Maximum Enforcement at Lake Berryessa this 4th of July weekend, keeping people safe on the roads and the water. ... HELPING FAMILIES OF THE SONOMA VALLEY The Napa CHP assisted with traffic control today at Flowery Elementary School and El Verano Elementary School today for The Redwood Empire Food Bank distribution event. La Luz of Sonoma Valley helped distribute food to over 200 families. This was a contactless drive thru event from 11am-1pm.
