We are partnering with CHP Golden Gate Division to participate in our "Saturation Saturday" event this coming Saturday, February 13th. This effort aims to reduce speeding and reckless driving as well as taking impaired drivers off the road along Interstate 80 from San Francisco, Calif. to the California/Nevada Stateline on Saturday, February 13, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This will be accomplished by enhancing traffic safety, enforcement, and education along this... section of Interstate 80. This effort is intended to educate and if necessary use enforcement to help keep our roadways safe from these dangerous drivers. We want to remind motorists to follow these basic traffic safety rules: always wear a seat belt, drive at a speed safe for conditions, eliminate distractions while driving, and always designate a sober driver. #chpvalleydivision #ValleyDivision #CHP

Collision on I-80 westbound west of Kingvale. Solo box truck off the roadway. Watch for emergency personnel and slowing traffic.

Rollover collision On I-80. Vehicle came from the w/b lanes, down the embankment and landed in the e/b #1 west of Rainbow. CHP helps sweep to open lane for Holiday motorists.

I 80, in the Gold Run area, between Yuba Gap and Kingvale has a lot of icy patches on the roadway, especially in the shaded areas. Please slow down and drive with caution. Caltrans is working hard applying sand to make the roadways safer.

Vehicle off the roadway in the center divide on I-80 westbound west of Yuba Gap. Emergency personnel on scene. Slow and use caution.

Another felony stop for Gold Run units on I-80 w/b west of Nyack. Use caution!

Jack-knifed big rig blocking all lanes of I-80 westbound east of SR-174 in Colfax. Traffic being diverted off at Rollins Lake. Expect delays.

I-80 westbound at Rollins Lake is being reopened. Expect delays while the truck fire is still being cleaned up on the shoulder east of Colfax.

Secondary truck fire on I-80 westbound east of Secret Town is out but still a visual hazard. Traffic backed up to Gold Run.
