Happy Giving Tuesday! Help us fulfill our mission to increase the economic well-being of people and communities through business development and local wealth creation. Chicostart's many programs serve thousands to start and grow businesses. Our programs reach women, rural folks, farmers and ranchers, low-income wage earners, small businesses, and entrepreneurs. We give thanks today and every day of the year for all the small businesses that make our community wonderful. Thes...e businesses support families and provide jobs. They mentor young adults into new professions. They provide much-needed goods and services. They keep the wealth local. We are honored to be part of the business-creation process here in Chico. Won't you help us celebrate the impact of entrepreneurs and small businesses every day by donating to our cause? Thank you! We wanted to give a shoutout to our #growTECH partner Credder! Credder is the world’s largest new review platform, having 10,000 total reviews and counting! Credder works to keep news outlets, authors, and articles credible. Instead of having a focus on traffic metrics, Credder established a platform to share quality online news. Where articles can be reviewed by journalists and the public using a rating system to review articles based on their credibility. A trustworthy press is the immune system of democracy, and Credder is the immune system of a trustworthy press. #growTECH #chicostart #partnerships #entrepreneurs

Now is the time to VOTE! We have an official ballot drop-off box placed right outside our office, as seen in the first photo. Be sure to keep these tips in mind when casting your vote this election: - Take a look at our official Butte County ballot drop off locations. NEVER drop off your ballot to a box that isn't listed as official! - Make sure to use a pen with black or blue ink, any other color could disqualify it - Fill out your ballot on a dry surface as to not damage i...t - Don't use a different signature than is already on file with the state - Write out the complete date (ex: 10/15/2020 NOT 10/15/20.) -If required by your state, make sure to provide additional identification - Send it in on time! - Share this post to help others in your county vote correctly and on time #chicostart #vote #thisischico #buttecounty See more
