The last day for tennis reservations is Friday, May 24, 2019. On June 1, 2019, iTennis (another tennis center management operator) will take over the tennis concession at Knabe Park in Cerritos.

New Director of Tennis at Cerritos Tennis Center, Chris Chutikorn, recently got back from a trip to Canoa, Ecuador (village where 7.8 earthquake recently hit). Chris Chutikorn brought the game of tennis to young Ecuadorian youth at a temporary outdoor shelter there for a week in May. Coach Chutikorn's efforts helped the youth to relieve the pain and tragedy of losing parents, losing relatives, and seeing their homes and schools wrecked by the devastating earthquake. Chris Chutikorn is planning to go on another week long trip to Canoa in mid June and late July to continue building on his grassroots efforts to bring tennis and teach organized sports to the youth there.
