Hi friends! I've been so out of the loop lately with my social media posting - my husband and I took a trip to the U.K. to visit friends and family, and life has been a little hectic since we got back. I'm excited to get back in to the swing of things, so I'll be writing a blog about this awesome photo session over the next few days. Hope you all had an awesome July 4th and are enjoying this lovely sunshine! xo

Hi friends, I have to apologize for not posting more frequently! I don’t know about you guys, but I find social media to be pretty exhausting. Although I LOVE sharing my work with you, sometimes life gets in the way and it gets pushed to the side. - Yesterday the lovely Jessica Boynton joined me on a quick test shoot beside my apartment complex in Walnut Creek. There were 3 things I wanted to try out - 1) Photographing in the middle of the day and not hiding from the sun, 2) ...Photographing in a less pretty area - e.g. not using amazing scenery as backdrops and 3) Photographing through a prism and some copper pipes to see the effects. Things got pretty weird, but weird in a good way! It’s fun to experiment with portrait photography, especially when I can use these techniques to get some cool shots of you lovely high school seniors :) - Looking forward to creating with the Class of 2018 soon!
