FINAL: Traffic is returning to normal. TRAFFIC ALERT: Traffic is slowing on Highway 395, approximately 2 miles south of Doyle, due to a disabled big rig.

PROJECT UPDATE: Crews will be demolishing the northbound bridge at Interstate 5 and Railroad Park Road near Dunsmuir on Sunday and Monday nights (3/28 & 3/29). During that time Railroad Park Road underneath the structure will be closed with detours in place. After the bridge is demo’d they will start construction of the new bridge which will require flagged closures on Railroad Park Road M-F and some Saturdays. 55 mile per hour lane closures will remain in place at both Sims and Crag View.

TRAFFIC ALERT: The Caltrans District 2 guardrail crew is planning two ramp closures this evening, starting at 8 p.m. The first closure will be for the southbound I-5 to westbound Highway 44 ramp from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m. The crew will then close the northbound I-5 to westbound Highway 44 ramp from 1 a.m. to 3 a.m. Detours will be in place. #KnowBeforeYouGo at QuickMap.dot.ca.gov

HIGHWAY 263 CLOSURE: Don't forget! The last season of construction on the Klamath River Bridge Project is beginning on Monday, March 29, which will close Highway 263 to through traffic for approximately one month. The project will widen roadways and replace current bridge structure at the junction of Highway 96 and Highway 263. Motorists traveling east on Highway 96, towards Yreka, will be able to continue two miles along Highway 96 to the southbound I-5 on-ramp. Motorists ...traveling north from Yreka can detour to northbound I-5, take exit 786 and then head west towards Highway 96. The contractor will also be working on Highway 96 during this period and one-way traffic control will be in place. The project is anticipated to be completed by the end of April.

FINAL UPDATE (BUTTE COUNTY) - Traffic on SR-70 is returning to normal just east of the SR-191 junction following a solo-vehicle rollover.
