James Green talking about water for Ukiah Valley 04.05.2021

From Russian River Flood Control regarding drought and low water supply: Dear Friends and Neighbors, The campaign, 2021 Drought Preparedness, is meant to raise awareness as water becomes more scarce in the coming months.... This message is the second in a series over the coming months for our watershed community by Russian River Flood Control and Mendocino County Resource Conservation District. Please share the messages we send each week with your family, friends, neighbors, and customers to make water conservation a daily part of our lives this year. This can be done through social media, email, print and display. With scant rain in the forecast and Lake Mendocino at a very low level, prepare now for less water availability in the Russian River Watershed. Everyday tasks are an opportunity to use less water and conserve. This week’s focus is turning off the tap when not needed. Did you know that just turning off the tap when brushing teeth or shaving can save 10 gallons per person/per day?
