Celebrating this GRAMMY win! Christopher Rouse was a frequent presence at the Cabrillo Festival, where more than twenty of his works were performed and premiered. Symphony No. 5 was one of the last pieces composed by Rouse, who passed away in September 2019. Also on this album (link below) is his Concerto for Orchestra, commissioned by the Festival in 2008.
