Three Jummuaa Prayer Services outdoors at BVMCC & no adjustment reservations number per service as of August 12, 2020 Phase 1.h Wednesday August 12, 2020 Dear brothers and sisters, Assalamu ‘alaikum. Three Jummuaa Prayer Services at BVMCC have been added & slight decrease reservations number per service as of August 5 Phase 1.h - 1st at 1:30 PM, 2nd at 2:30 PM & 3rd at 3:00 PM with online reservations required at NCIC website for ...the first 33 people plus Khateeb & volunteer for each service while abiding by the below guidelines in the same area courtyard but further back from when we are praying Fajr & Isha as easement with the neighbors during their working hours is observed. Please use this link: http://www.norcalcouncil.org/prayer for BVMCC booking. NOTE: ONE BOOKING PER PERSON REGARDLESS OF GENDER OR AGE, EVERYONE MUST HAVE A RESERVATION. Use the link’s drop down menu, then choose the BVMCC as the location, choose the date, & then choose which Salat you like to attend (NOTE if for some reason you can’t keep your reservations please call 408-666-5214 to cancel): Friday August 7, 2020 A) First Jumuaa at 1:30 PM, with Khutbah from Br. Khaled Hamade B) Second Jumuaa at 2:30 PM, with Khutbah from Br. Baha Shadid C) Third Jumuaa at 3:00 PM, with Khutbah from Br. Baha Shadid New County/State mandated rules for attending BVMCC for the safe & well being of the larger community: 1) Self-assessment & Self-check yourself & whoever is accompanying you at home for any symptoms prior to coming to BVMCC; if you do have any symptoms do not attend services at BVMCC pray at home instead 2) Avoid coming to BVMCC if you are in a high risk of infection group for your own protection 3) Each person brings in their own clean/sanitized prayer matt/rug 4) Each person brings in their own clean/sanitized cloth or disposable mask and must be worn on face & covering mouth & nose while each person is attending services at BVMCC 5) Each person brings in their own clean/sanitized bags for their own shoes during the prayer service 6) Make your ablution/Wudu at home; BVMCC restroom facility is closed until further notice 7) Attendance at BVMCC is for the obligatory prayers only (Fard Salat/Namaz only), pray your Sunnah & Nafl at home 8) BVMCC outdoors will be closed in between the prayers (no lingering around allowed) 9) All rules will be enforced; attendees not abiding by them will asked to leave 10) If you choose to attend services at BVMCC you agree to hold the BVMCC, board members, employees, volunteers & landlord harmless from any liability in relation to the Covid-19 Pandemic If you agree to all the above points and answered NO to all the screening questions then please proceed to the prayer area. Due to worsening pandemic conditions, the BVMCC along with the MCA, EIC & WVMA have taken a cautious approach and decided that they will not hold salat al-Eid tomorrow, but we encourage everyone to pray at home & join the virtual program below.
