Church of Southland will be hosting a drive-thru Food Pantry THIS SATURDAY (3/13)!! We will be distributing free grocery boxes from 9-11 AM. Cars may start to line up at 8:30 AM. If you or someone you know need help or some hope, please stop by! Please share

Drive Thru Food Pantry...Is life really challenging, especially right now? The First Christian Church of Huntington Beach wants to help ease a little bit of that stress and pressure with their Drive Through Food Pantry. Every 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month from 1-3 p.m at FCCHB main parking lot on the corner of Adams and 17th Street (church address is 1207 Main Street) you will receive a couple of bags filled with both fresh & non-perishable foods. We’ll even have some additional options of toiletries, diapers, wipes, and cleaning supplies. Everything is free, you won’t have to leave your car, there’s absolutely no obligation on you, and you might enjoy an outing to the beach

Your children do not have to be enrolled in the district to qualify.

It was an honor to recognize Carol McCann as one of my Second Annual Kindness Award honorees during the City of Buena Park - City Hall council meeting. For the... City of #BuenaPark, Carol has been a Youth Baseball Coach, President of the American Little League, a Habitat for Humanity volunteer, member of the Chief of Police Community Advisory Board, a member of the the City of Buena Park Ad Hoc Homelessness Task Force, served weekly with Bright Paths Outreach and annual with NOC Homeless Census, and was the Executive Director of the Buena Park Collaborative. We thank Carol for her years of outstanding public service in the #OCFourthDistrict.
