The Buckles & Bows RVers held their October 2020 Pismo Beach camp out. Ten rigs joined in the fun at the famous Pismo Coast Village RV Resort. Even during Covid19 we safely enjoyed delicious Ice Cream at Burnstein's Ice Cream Lab and golfing at Avila Beach Golf Resort. You just can't hold a good club down!

The Buckles and Bows wish Mike a speedy recovery. We are looking forward to many more happy healthy years together. Get well soon!

We’re sorry to announce that the 24th Rivco Square and Round Dance festival is cancelled for this year. The facility where we dance is being used for other pur...poses connected to the pandemic. Due to the current increase of Covid-19 cases, the fairgrounds is obligated to help with use of their facilities. Therefore, we have decided it is not worth the risk to our dancers and staff to try to find an alternate facility, but just to wait this out in hopes for better times next year. We look forward to next year and our 25th Anniversary,November 11-14 2021, with many of our guest callers returning. All pre-registration deposits will be refunded within the next few weeks. The Holiday Hop in Laughlin will also be cancelled for 2021. Again, all deposits will also be returned. Please feel free to share this post. See more

Congratulations Dick Hodnefield. Happy 80th Birthday. The Boots and Slippers Square Dance Club, Buckles and Bows Square Dance Club, plus other clubs and callers had a drive by Tuesday evening June 9, 2020. There was quite a parade of cars including fun classics (cars & people). Dick has been calling and teaching for what seems like 78 years.

Buckles and Bows Square Dance Club made its third $1000 donation in 2020 on June 3 to Manna to support local families in need. Our club is known for its fundraisers and support for community members in need. In these difficult times many families are struggling. Get involved. AGAIN, THANKS TO MIKE AND LISA SEASTROM, OUR NEXT VIRTUAL SOCIAL & TWO-COUPLE DANCE IS THIS SATURDAY, 2 May, AT 7PM PACIFIC. SEE DETAILS BELOW TO REGISTER FOR THIS EVENT. FUN, FUN, FUN!! ******************************************************** Hi All,... We would like to invite you to our third Virtual Social and Two-Couple Dance this coming Saturday, May 2nd, at 7 pm PDT. You are welcome to attend as a couple, a single, or with 3 people, depending on your situation of staying home. We will have a short intro, and will be using calls from the Basic, Mainstream and Plus Programs. We've been doing new dancer only Zooms on Tuesday nights. Some folks even had ice cream at the breaks! We will be using the Zoom format again, which only requires you to click on a link we send you in an email that will come to you from Lisa before Saturday evening. Please register with us at: [email protected] now so we have an e-mail to send you the link. You can use your computer, with or without a camera attached (without a camera, we can’t see you, but you can see us.) You can also use a tablet or cell phone if it gets email. There will a password to avoid Zoom bombers" that will be in your invitation. We will walk you through setting up your two-couple square and some of the calls too. We will pause every few minutes to have some social time. I will mute everyone during the dance time, and unmute all during the breaks. You can unmute yourselves to talk by pressing your space bar like a walkie talkie. :))) If you have any questions, please call or text us.
