The cancer story...October 6,1983 13 years old diagnosed with ovarian cancer. The doctor at Variety Chidren's Hospital said that had we waited 2 more days, (like the doctors at North Miami General were planning to do), I would have likely died. So...Yay! for competent doctors and Yay! for being alive. If you know me, you know I love life, and I think a couple of near death experiences have a lot to do with my appreciation and perspective. It can be worse. Whatever's going on, could be a lot worse. I choose to see the silver lining in everything because it's more pleasant than looking at the bad stuff. Where I put my focus in life is what I tend to get back. Where are you putting your focus?
