We are thankful for all of you, BOA families!

Hi BOA families, For Brea Olinda Aquatics to re-start our youth swim and water polo programs (safely and following State protocols), we need the Brea Olinda School Board to allow us to use the High School pool again. Many of you have reached out asking how to help. We believe that the best way to communicate how important these programs are for our kids is to let them speak for themselves. If you are willing to send us a short video of your son/daughter sharing why BOA is... important to them and/or why they think the program should be allowed to re-start, please send it to us at [email protected] by Sunday, 11/7/2020. We will put the clips together into one video and share it with the School Board on behalf of the club. Parents are also more than welcome to either participate in the video with their child or send a separate video to provide the parent perspective on why BOA is important to your family and should be able to re-start. Good evening, BOA families We are happy to see the impacts of COVID trending down in Orange County and our high school swimmers and water polo players returning to the pool for conditioning. We are hopeful that BOA will also be able to return soon, but for now we have no news on a potential date we can begin using the High School pool again. BOUSD focus is on their students and safety, so they are continuing to restrict use of the pool to only their high school teams. We have let the School District and School Board know that our younger athletes are also hoping to get back in the water. As soon as we know any information about resuming our programs, we will share it with you. Thank you for your patience and continued support! Stay safe & well.
