Meet the Cast of A Little Night Music In the first of a series, we would like to introduce the cast of our upcoming production of A Little Night Music. We are ...starting with Jennifer Ashworth who portrays Desiree Armfeldt. Jennifer found her way into the Lamplighters family when she auditioned for A Little Night Music in 2001. Since then she has performed with Lamplighters in nearly all of the G&S operettas, including many non-G&S operettas and musical theater. When she isn't on stage, she directs the MAD Band, an elementary-school instrumental music program at the School of the Madeleine in Berkeley. See more

We continue our Meet the Cast series with Jeffrey Beaudoin. Jeffrey portrays Lars and the Major Domo in A Little Night Music. Jeff is thrilled to be celebrating... over 30 years with Lamplighters! He has sung in the chorus of all the G&S operas plus The Merry Widow, La Périchole, Where's Charley? and many Galas. He has also appeared with us as Ivan (Die Fledermaus), Notary (Sorcerer), Max (Gala ‘94), Dances With Weasels (Gala ‘96) and as Scynthius in our award-winning Princess Ida in Buxton, England. Next in our "Meet the Cast" series is Amy Bouchard. Amy graces our stage as Mrs. Anderssen in A Little Night Music. Amy has performed extensively on the opera s...tage, notably with Opera Santa Barbara, West Bay Opera, Livermore Valley Opera, Stockton Opera, and Modesto Opera, in roles including Dorabella (Così fan tutte) Mercedes (Carmen) and Elle (La Voix Humaine). Featured soloist with the Mendocino Music Festival Orchestra and Spokane Symphony. Recent theater credits include Lead Ensemble in Sondheim on Sondheim (3Below Theaters). Crossover work includes backing vocals for the Grammy Award-winning Zac Brown Band. See more

Today's installment of "Meet the Cast" introduces Ella Bleu Bradford who will portray Frederika in A Little Night Music. Ella found her passion for performance ...at a very young age. Whether her audience is people or an array of furry friends, she has always loved to sing, act and dance. Some of her favorite theater credits include Seussical, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers with Broadway of Sacramento Music Circus and Spelling Bee (Schwartzy). Ella would like to thank her family and friends for their love, encouragement, Uber services, and support as she pursues her dreams. See more

Meet the Cast of "A Little Night Music"! Meet Elana Cowen who plays Mrs. Segstrom. Elana, mezzo-soprano, has performed with many companies internationally inclu...ding on the West Coast: Opera San José, Philharmonia Baroque, L.A. Philharmonic, Bay Area Children’s Theater and San Francisco Lyric Opera to name a few. Operatic roles performed include Olga in Eugene Onegin, Dido in Dido and Aeneas, Lidio in L’Egisto and Dinah in Trouble in Tahiti. With Lamplighters, Elana performed the roles of Baroness von Krakenfeldt in The Grand Duke and Pizzi in The (New) Mikado. See more

In today's "Meet the Cast", we are happy to introduce Nicholas Dahlman who portrays Bertrand in A Little Night Music. This is Nicholas’ twenty-second production... with the Lamplighters since he moved to the Bay Area in 2012. Nicholas has also appeared recently in shows in Benicia and at Dickens Fair, and will be in the Lyric Theatre production of TheYeomen of the Guard in March. See more
