This is a FREE opportunity to learn about cow anatomy, lactation, digestion and milk’s journey from the farm to the table. The instructors will also teach the importance of healthy eating habits and physical activity. This event is designed for elementary-age students in grades K 6. At this time the Bolado Park Event Center will only be open for camping services. We will be available by phone Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 3:00pm to schedule camping reservations or receive payments for future rentals. We will work with each guest to provide the best service possible while observing the social distancing required by the current state and local orders as well as the needs of our employees to keep their families free from exposure. Other private ...events have been cancelled or rescheduled through April 30th and we will not be touring buildings. We will re-evaluate the status of future events with current information on or before April 30th. Raising money for your school, team or club? San Benito County Fair is in need of a parking Lot team for the 2020 Fair and beyond. We need a commitment of time ...and people willing to honor that commitment. Minimum of 5 adults and up to 10 people per hour. Fair dates are Thursday October 1 -Sunday October 4, 2020, and averages 12 hours per day. We can split time by organization by day or work on other arrangements. We need help and really would like to offer the opportunity to our community first. In 1919, the California Legislature created a single department responsible for protecting and promoting Agriculture. The California Department of Food and Agriculture is now organized into five divisions. The department operates at more than 100 locations throughout the state. These divisions provide valuable services to producers, merchants and the public. Many of the functions are conducted in partnership with local county offices of the agricultural commissioners and sealers. We are grateful for 100 years of support to Fairgrounds through CDFA!

As we close down our 96th annual San Benito County Fair we want to thank everyone who spent the last year Sewing the fabric and Growing the seeds of a Successfu...l event. Thank you to our Sponsors, Award Donors, Volunteers, Staff, Security, Vendors, Exhibitors, Guests and Everyone who joined us for the SHOW!! We welcomed over 21,000 people in 4 days, an increase of almost 5000 above 2018! San Benito County Fair is soon to be opening on October 3rd. This year's Fair begins on Thursday officially opening at 3p with the Giant Pumpkin Contest & Harv...est Party at 6p. Friday is the not to be missed Best of San Benito Wine Tasting from 7p to 9p showcasing local San Benito Wineries then check out the Motocross, Quad Wars & 4x4 Diesel Truck Pulls at 7:30p. Saturday starts off with the Junior Livestock Auction at 9a, and the Truck & Tractor Super Pulls at 6p. For our final day, Sunday is the Taste of San Benito from 11a to 1p on the Patio, Ag Hort Produce Auction at 4p along with Banda S7 on the Mainstage at 4:45p. Our sincere condolences to the family of Mr. William Hawkins.
