I have the great fortune of meeting many people in their 80s, 90s and beyond through my work as a geriatric and palliative care physician, and am constantly impressed by the sense of peace and grace they embody. Even when ill and facing their final days, they are so at peace and filled with love, I can't help but be inspired. I have learned so much about life and love and am grateful for these invaluable lessons. One quote that struck me was: "When I asked one person, Do you wish you had accomplished more? He responded, No, I wished I loved more. So many primary regrets have to do with relationships. If we can all choose to "Love More" we'll find that the world will respond in kind, and life will be far more joyful and meaningful. Thank you, Reverend Lydia Sohn for sharing these very meaningful reflections and observations.
