Thank you Blue Oak Academy PTO for spoiling the teachers (and me)!!! What a way to honor hard work during an extremely crazy time with conferences.

I wanted to share my favorite paragraph that I shared with the TCOE nomination committee about her: Mrs. Galindo radiates integrity. She unwaveringly believes that all can be reached and pushed to be their very best. She will boldly share ideas, ask questions, and provide honest feedback with the intent to help our school continually improve. It is such a comfort to be able to trust her ethics and heart. I know she will always do what she believes is best for students. What a joy to have her on our staff- she is such a deserving candidate!
Student Supplies Pick Up (Further Details) & Orientation Hello, Just a reminder that our pick up days are tomorrow and Thursday. These are drive-through only. The teachers/aides will be handing you the supplies through a window and signing any necessary forms. If you cannot make that specific time when the teacher will be distributing, or you can only come to one time slot due to siblings, we will have you pull off to a different location while we go and gather your supplies.... If you cannot make those two days at all, please contact myself or the teacher for other arrangements. After you have received the supplies, there will be a fun photo station set up in the 1/2 circle drive through. We would like to take a picture of our BOA Innovators! Your child will be in the car the entire time while a frame will be placed around their smiling face. YEARBOOKS will be distributed here as well! Last, our teachers have finalized their orientation schedules. Here is a quick overview: ~Looking forward to seeing you soon!-Dana
Important Reminder Regarding Immunization Requirements Hello BOA Families, Mrs. Guzman (Health Aide) here sending a reminder for incoming Transitional Kindergarten and Kindergarten families. You must provide an updated Immunization Record for your child to begin the 20/21 school year.... This is a State Mandated requirement for attendance, that has not been waived due to distance learning. Please reach out to us if you are in the process of updating your child’s Immunizations and email copies at your earliest convenience. Also please share this message with incoming TK/K families that may not have access to BLOOMZ just yet. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. [email protected]
Greetings Blue Oak Families, You should have received an invite today to sign up for the new school year on Bloomz. If not, here are the directions.
Good Morning Blue Oak Families, After last night’s parent partnership meeting, (btw, there’s another one at 9:00 am this morning-see Donya’s earlier post on July 20) it became apparent that we need to try to accommodate for some of the other unique needs being caused by 100% distance learning. This might be something like your students are family (siblings or cousins) or you are going to need to share child care with other school families. If this is the case, we would like to do our best to try to make that happen to help ease the load for you! If you have a special request such as your desire to put students in the same class (must be same grade level spans still), please email me immediately! You will be notified about your child’s placement in the week before school starts. Be. Better. Together.
