Join us on October 31st for a brand new Covid-19 style adoption event: Adopt a kitten from your car! Stay socially distant from the safety of your car while viewing our available kittens, then complete the adoption process from one of our reserved parking spots. Take your kitten home the same day! We even have pre-packaged kitten start kits for purchase so you won't have to make any additional stops. We will have limited spots available each hour- please sign up in advance vi...a the Eventbrite link listed below! Adoption fees are $20, OR $10 if you or any member of your family comes in costume! There will also be an option to add-on a kitten starter pack and/or carrier.. A note about our adoption process: Although our fees may change, our screening policy does not. To ensure the well-being of the animals in our care once they leave the organization, Best Friends employs skilled adoption counselors. These dedicated team members know how to ask the right questions to make sure a good match is made, as well as to spot any potential red flags. Our adoptions specialists council each new adopter and do their best to set the pet and family up for success in their new home. Our adoption interview process remains the same no matter the adoption promotion or location. Best Friends also has a lifelong commitment to any & all animals that are adopted from our centers, regardless of the adoption fee. You know when you write your best friend's birthday down on your calendar, only to find out you wrote down the wrong date when you wish them a happy birthday a week late? Well, that's what happened to us with Vet Tech appreciation week, which was last week. We love our vet assistants and vet techs and want to make sure they all know much we appreciate them.
