Love and fur is in the air!!
The next 4-6 weeks is mating season for coyotes. Please do not let your dogs out alone and be aware of your surroundings. Coyotes are also extremely bold pre...dators. Coyote breeding typically peaks in late February and early March, the gestation period averages 58 to 63 days. Male coyotes can become more aggressive during this time of year, the long and short of it all is that coyotes always pose a risk to your dog (and other small pets). That risk increases during mating season. See more
Any friends in the Granite Hills area, our dog ran away last night. We think she got spooked from all the fireworks. Please keep an eye out for her. Her name is... McKenna. She is a white West Highland Terrier. Phone number on tag is wrong. Please call 619-627-7015. Address on tag is correct. See more
Hi, I found this puppy on Donahue Dr. With no collar, name or phone number. I gave it to my neighbor and she’s going to post it on Nextdoor as well. If yours, please contact Ann at (619) 212-0604 Thank you Ann for taking care of the rest
Lily is still missing. Please keep your eye out for any small white chihuahuas. Lost in the Eastlake area. Can be anywhere, at this point.
Well that’s a wrap on another Holiday season at Angels Pet Parlor. 38 years serving East County Pets! I’m grateful to each and every very one you who helps keep my doors open during this difficult time! Truly Blessed!! Happy Holidays!!!
Walking the dog doesn't always go to plan
To say we’re busy this week is a understatement!! Now we’re at the home stretch this week!!
Service dog adorably fails out of school
Re: NBC News story below Back in the day...60s 70s 80s, on East Coast everyone got Lepto on their dogs as, tho rareish, was not uncommon. I always got it on mi...ne. Out here the answer to getting Lepto is "not necessary unless you live in a rural area." Being every neghborhood in San Diego is surrounded by rural areas peopled with wildlife in this City of Canyons I kinda thought inside my head,, "Huh????" Perhaps? Will? vets now go back to believing there is wisdom in giving lepto? We shall see. Will go back to relying on my own commin sense and resume getting it on my own dogs and pups.
Just a couple of best friends having fun in the water!
It’s with great sadness that we have lost another long time furbaby client today. Paco we will miss you little guy!! RIP
Teddy has been found, thank you all very much. Good evening Neighborhoods our family needs your help. We had an emergency situation today and have been away ...from our home, its been stressful. We had guests that we're here and forgot to let the dogs back inside. Now, added to our endless day we found our little Teddy missing. We live by Vista Grande Elementary on Vista Grande Rd. He has escaped house twice this week. Once through the garage and a hole under our neighbor's fence we covered it. We have a very large property. We returned earlier to find him missing (we went looking for him). He would have gone missing this afternoon. I'm rambling. He is a small breed, he is on a special diet, Teddy is highly allergic to lots of food. The only protein can have is chicken. He is very friendly and a pill, if he doesn't get his way. Thank you for your time. See more
And people say dogs are intelligent animals...
Some really cute fur babies here!! Happy Saturday y’all
UPDATE: SD humane society has picked them up and taken them to Gaines St. shelter, he said they will be held for 5 days before being placed for adoption! Xo Does anyone know these dogs? They came running into my backyard off Jamacha and Dorothy in El Cajon ! No collars.
Today I had to euthanize this beautiful kitten. Her owners tried to treat her fleas with Sergeant’s Bansect squeeze-on. They bought it at the Dollar Tree. They ...did not realize IT IS NOT TO BE USED ON CATS. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE READ LABELS! Not all products make it obvious on their packaging which animal can use it safely. PLEASE CALL YOUR VETERINARIAN IF YOU NEED ADVICE ON WHAT TO USE ON CATS THAT IS SAFE!! (They are NOT mini dogs!!). I am not out to take all of your money-this is a job I do out of love and today I am crushed! Crushed for this kitten. Crushed for the family. Crushed for my staff who dropped what they were doing in the middle of a very busy morning already filled with emergencies to help me try to get a seizing cat under control. That one dollar tube of flea treatment did many dollars of damage, left the cat to die and the fleas were still walking all over her. Please do not use these brands: Sergeant’s, Hartz, Biospot, Zodiac! Share to help others keep their pets safe!! See more
I love my job!!!!! So many happy pups
