This is my epic pandemic piece. It's a bromance shout out from one veteran to another in the time of Corona. Too many low income folks of color without nursing... degrees, or MD attached to their tittle have been on the frontlines of the Covid-19 war, and they are often overlooked, taken for granted, and exploited. This is an attempt to show my homey on the frontlines and all those who toil in the trenches alongside him, some love!! Its around 3 weeks old so some stats are dated, and thankfully the curve is flatening in NY, but the narrative remains relevant. Peace!! See more

Boricuas in Berkeley is keeping track of the status of the COVID-19 cases in our beloved island of Puerto Rico. So far, there have been 14 confirmed cases, 114 negative results, and approximately 52 suspected cases waiting for results. Tomorrow is the BIG DAY, where we will be welcoming Puerto Rican community organizer, visionary, and patriot Oscar López Rivera at Berkeley. A humble human being with the soul of a warrior. We have a whole day scheduled for him where he will have 4 appearances, including 2 free and open events to the general public at UC Berkeley and Berkeley City College. We are delighted to be part of Oscar's US Northwest 2020 National Speaking Tour and kick off his Bay Area circuit. Come and join us for a historic evening at Berkeley!
