Chemo brain or chemo fog is a very frustrating side effect of chemotherapy. Fortunately, it rarely affects me now. I’ll never forget two instances where this came up for me during treatment. I couldn’t remember the word for shower curtain - and tried to mime it’s action to no avail - nobody could figure out what I was trying to say. The other one was when I was returning sheets to Macy’s and I asked a salesperson Where can I return this mattress? Fortunately she didn’t blink an eye and said, Upstairs - third floor.
