BCT is California’s oldest continually producing theatre, now in our 93rd Season. Since 1927, we’ve never missed a season of producing plays due to the tremendous community support we’ve received. The temporary closure of our physical space is necessary to ensure the safety and health of our performers and audience members, but our creativity has continued through the production of virtual plays for the enjoyment of our audiences. We are able to continue in this way because... of you. We are deeply grateful for your generosity during this most unusual time, and we promise that we will be back live as soon as it is safe to do so. And we will be better and stronger than ever. If you are able to make a year-end donation, please visit bctstage.org. Gifts of any size are welcome and appreciated, and your gift to a non-profit organization, like BCT, is tax deductible up to $300 under a special provision in the CARES Act of 2020. Stay safe and well, and we’ll see you soon at BCT! Happy Holidays, and Happy New Year!

From 1927-1961, BCT didn't have a "home." Mostly a traveling performance troupe, productions were done in various locations - including school auditoriums. Directed by Rebecca Worley, the show was set in post-WWII France - in which she attributes the characters' hopefulness of a brighter future... which is still something we can definitely relate to today.
