Bad Ass Optical Lab

California is warning it's residents about rolling blackouts until the 20th. These yearly warnings typically occur after 3pm and are VERY RARE. In addition our lab has short term backup power. Although we expect no disruption in service, it's possible the phones or electronic ordering will be down for a very short time in the afternoons till Wednesday. Don't freak out. Our established out of state customers have our cell phones. Do avail yourself should you need service if there is an outage.

Bad Ass Optical Lab is maintaining our in-house turn time despite horrible disruptions from UPS/FedEx/USPS. Since we ship with all of the carriers, and since most shipping issues are local, we are happy to let our customers pick which service is better for them. Do tell us which you prefer, and it shall be so.

Karen Flynn , our resident crazy LUCKY cat lady has had her eye on some babies living under a house. Of course her car is broken so she needed a ride to go see their progress, and there I am with nothing to do on a lazy covid Saturday but suck on my inhaler and wear my stupid mask. A neighbor had a crate to put them in w/mama cat, and one of Karen's friends from People's Park had a flashlight... because that's how she rolls LUCKY ALL THE TIME. Mama cat and kitties are very chill. Apparently a silly Cal student was feeding mama, and had to leave town, and no one was able to take her in. Then she had kitties and hid them under a house. My lungs hurt now, my scalp itches, and my nose may need to be removed from my face, but this will pass... #Karen's #Covid #Kitties

Hi Everyone, Project Homeless Connect Vision San Francisco is Wed. It's located at The Bill Graham Civic Auditorium and starts at 9:30. If you are looking for a way to give back during the holiday season this is a great way to volunteer. We are a good group of optical folks from across the industry and we have a lot of fun. In a rare change of events, we have enough OD's (more are always welcome) and are short about 10 opticians. I'm good, but I'm not that good! Much more hel...p would be appreciated if anyone wants to pitch in. If you are a rep who would like to volunteer, or even better if you have dispensed before we would love to have you!
