Hello everyone, I will be gathering up a few thousand pounds of produce within the next five days. Let me know if you have any neighbors within a 5 mile radius of Santa Fe Springs who needs their fruits and veggies picked for a donation... -B

400 likes! I'm happy about this for many reasons but mostly because a lot of people are going to get some relief! Also, I started this with zero money and all the backing I got was from people who just wanted to help society. Human beings can be a little crazy, but, we are also capable of so much love and compassion. There is a spectrum and there is a lot more good than bad, trust me! I will be expanding what we do over the coming months to include several other services I believe people need, including affordable housing (not directly) but we will be working with other organizations on this. We need to implement actual policy changes in California to help the homeless, we will play our part!

Our Mission Statement for those who need to get acquainted... The #AskYourNeighbor Project was founded to provide balanced nutrition for children and families who have limited access to fresh wholesome foods. We seek to accomplish this goal by encouraging community members to donate the excess fruits and vegetables that are grown on their properties. All produce is re-distributed to other non-profit organizations that currently provide meals and groceries to residents in need. -Blake

What's up guys, It's been a while but we are getting back into the swing of things. If you have produce to donate, let's make it work. DM or reply and we will pick it up. Fresh vitamins and minerals the natural way is a solid holiday gift, -Blakiepoo
