We are beyond excited to announce that Katherine Slay will now be teaching the Reformer 2 at 7am on Wednesday mornings beginning on March 6th! Katherine Slay’s love for movement is infectious. With over 15 years teaching experience, she is a senior level Teacher Trainer in the Pilates industry teaching internationally and appearing in multiple modeling and fitness projects. Her dance career started in New York City at the age of 16 with the Joffrey Ballet, and her dance res...ume includes the title of Miss Dance California for Dance Masters of America, industrial performances with Tiffany and Co (Las Vegas, NV), and the movie The Big Lebowski (Hollywood,CA). She has served as a senior Teacher Trainer for Power Pilates and Classical Pilates Education and has been a presenter at both Pilates Method Alliance and IDEAfit conventions in the US. AURA welcomes Kelly Saxon to our reformer schedule! Beginning March 1st, you can join her on Friday mornings at 7am for an intelligent and challenging Level 2 Reformer class! Kelly is a Body Arts and Science International certified Pilates Instructor with an emphasis in Dance Conditioning since 2004. Kelly graduated from California State University Long Beach with a Bachelor Degree in Dance focusing on kinesiology. She's been teaching pilates in a Physical Therapy Clinic for ...the past 15 years. Kelly has extensive formal ballet training from Ahita Ardaland of the Paris Opera Ballet and the late Erling Sunde a master teacher of the Royal Ballet in London. Kelly has spent most of her life focusing her efforts in learning body movement patterns, muscular balance, flexibilty, skeletal support through core strength, and the complexity of human anatomy. Kelly has positive energy and an eye for detail.
